This title is referring to the layers of The Earth, and Meek Mill’s song “levels”. It doesn’t have to make any sense, just telling you the two things I thought of when I looked at this painting tonight. I plan to have some new daily words next week. It’s been a great summer. Last fall the weather stopped me just when I was starting to really enjoy what I was painting. I took the Winter off and collected motivational wood panels from thrift stores and bought a few cans of spray paint every week. In mid April I stated painting every night from 5:30-6:30 until I ran out of panels and spray paint around the start of June. My wife planned to give me money for art supplies as a Father’s Day gift. I asked for it early; drove to Nevada and put it all on the Washington Captials to win the Stanley Cup. When they did I ordered boxes of spray paint and had replenished my panels by going to 3-4 thrift stores a day. Even though I’m 40, technologically speaking I’m 80. I was going to offer 40 paintings for $40 from the April/May batch at the beginning of July. Instead I accidentally took my website offline and haven’t been able to get it back online since. I’m using this daily post as a call out to myself to get my website back online. I’m going to be posting one painting a day for the next 100 days along with this ramble and a few words about the painting.
